I started working with Mike in November 2021. At first, I was hesitant in getting a personal trainer due to my negative experiences in the past (they were more like 'influencers' than actual trainers who care about your health). I came to Mike with the intention of toning and strengthening my body, as well as fixing my posture. With the pandemic, I had been experiencing very low motivation with working out at home, so I thought that hiring a personal trainer would help me with that. I chose to work with Mike over the number of other trainers available because of the instant rapport I built with him. Right off the bat, his positive energy was so uplifting, and his kindness and words of affirmation made me want to keep coming back to the gym. While working with Mike, I felt super supported both in the gym and outside of the gym. He is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions to the best of his ability. While working with Mike, I was provided with a workout plan - this workout plan solved pretty much all the problems I came with. I saw my body getting more toned, I felt my confidence grow, and most of all, I felt motivated to come back again and again. Mike's approach to fitness training is unique because he puts the client first. I didn't feel like I was getting a basic cut-and-paste workout plan as I have in the past with others because he tailored the program to my liking and comfortability. If I wasn't comfortable with a specific routine, he would change it for me so that it worked with me better while still ensuring it met all my target goals. What I enjoyed the most about my experience is how empathic Mike was to my needs - he pushed me to my limits without burning me out, he listened to my problems and made sure we tackled them all, he was available to answer my questions around the clock, and most of all, he embodied everything I was looking for in trainer. If motivation, encouragement, flexibility and a personal approach is what you're looking for in a fitness trainer, then I highly recommend working with Mike.

I needed commitment, discipline, confidence and help. I found all of that when I started at Kinnected. The workouts are challenging and fun. I’ve improved so much in my strength and endurance and the variety of different workouts keeps it interesting. Not only that, I found a trainer who truly cares for my well-being sometimes more than I do. There is good balance between pushing me and making me feel that I can always achieve more and there’s always laughs in between. I hate to say it but Mike is honestly a really great trainer and I am so happy I decided to take a chance on him. We were able to build a relationship where I feel comfortable to step outside my comfort zone while also joking around and having fun. He really does care about all his clients and takes the time to listen to you and the challenges you face when trying to achieve your goals. He makes custom workouts for you that change as you and your goals change. He is always there to push you and motivate you to keep going, even though  you may not believe in yourself he will always believe in you. I admit I do want to fight him sometimes with the workout routines he creates for me…. But i GUESS he does know what he is doing. Though fair warning he will explain the biology of why each workout is helpful even though you tell him you don’t care :P Overall really great guy and an even better trainer. Anyone can make workouts that can be tailored for your goals but with Mike you will also gain an amazing friend that will do anything to see you succeed.

Mike is a great personal trainer. He’s very patient, creates programs that are suited for you specifically, and has very motivating energy when working out! If you’re ever looking for a trainer whether it’s for months or a couple sessions, I recommend mike all day every day! :)
